Syrian Observatory for Human Rights

At least 240 people were killed in Syria on Monday during fierce clashes and airstrikes, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said on Tuesday.

Monday's death toll included 76 fighters of regime forces and 29 people killed by airstrikes carried out by the regime's air forces and Daesh militants, the London-based observatory added.

Meanwhile, at least 21 Daesh terrorists were killed on Monday, raising the death toll of the terrorists group to 126 since June 2.
