Egyptian singer Shireen Abdul Wahab is preparing her latest self-funded album release, following meetings with poet Khaled Taj al-Din, composer Khaled Ezz and distributor Toma.
Wahab has just come back from a blockbuster tour with Nelly Furtado, after recording Just A Dream, a duet with the Canadian star.
The Furtado track will soon be translated and re-released in Arabic, making it a career-first - the first English-language duet Shireen has ever performed.
The Egyptian star will release the new album -- called Ask About Me -- independently after protracted disagreements with former record label Rotana
