Air strike targeted in northern Iraq

Iraqi security source announced Sunday the death of 35 elements belonging to Daash organization in an air strike that targeted their gathering in al- Baaj district of Mosul in northern Iraq.
The source said that the air strike resulted in the death of the organisation's leaders, including Salem Mathri Hamdan, nicknamed "Abu Luay" and he is the military official, and Momtaz Issa, nicknamed " Abu Aisha" who is responsible for the introduction of suicide bombers to Iraq.
The Directorate of Military Intelligence also announced the death of 11 terrorists of Daash in Mosul and Dhuluiya northern Iraq, and the destruction of seven wheels carrying mono guns.
On the security front, Iraqi police said that five mortar shells fell Sunday evening on al-Qaaqaa in the town of Mahmoudiya, killing one civilian and wounding ten others.
Moreover, four people were wounded in an explosion of a parked car near a break station for travelers, west of Anbar province.
