At least ten people were killed including two dacoits and a political party worker in various incidents of violence in southern Pakistani city Karachi on Tuesday. According to police, the residents of a house killed two armed robbers when they tried to enter their house in Shah Faisal Town area of Karachi In wee hours of Tuesday. The incident occurred in Green town area when six dacoits entered a house and the residents retaliated by opening fire on them killing two of them on the spot where rest of the dacoits fled. Moreover, a man was killed when unknown armed attackers opened fire in Korangi Town area and killing another in Gulshan-e-Bahar area of Orangi Town. A man was killed in Martin Quarters area late at night by the firing of unknown assailants. The spokesman for religious party Sunni Tehreek told that the person was identified as Faisal Qadri and was a member of their party. Police has claimed to recover three dead bodies bearing bullet wounds from Malir River that were sent to the forensic department for identification and medical formalities. A senior police official, Amir Farooqi told that unidentified attackers opened fire on a vehicle in North Nazimabad area and injured a man who later succumbed to injuries today morning. Police has also recovered two dead bodies of persons who were missing since few days ago from Surjani Town area of Karachi. Karachi is the largest city of Pakistan and the economic hub of the country facing law and order issues since many years. The security forces have carried many operations in different areas of the city but the security issues have not yet been resolved.
