At least 30 militants were killed on Monday in clashes with security forces in Pakistan's south-western province of Balochistan, a provincial minister said according to dpa. The paramilitary force, Frontier Corps, carried out the operation in the Khuzdar and Kalat districts after reports of the presence of separatist militants, Interior Minister Sarfraz Bugti told the media. "In the intense fighting 30 rebels were killed and 10 soldiers injured," he said. The minister claimed that a huge quantity of weapons was also recovered by government soldiers.
