Pakistan fires 60 missiles on Afghanistan

Pakistani army fired about 60 rockets on Afghanistan’s Kunar Province during the past 24 hours, said Afghani officials on Wednesday.

Provincial police chief Gen. Abdul Habib Syed Khel said the rockets were fired from the other side of Durand Line and landed in Shegal and Kadish districts.
The Pakistani military has been shelling eastern provinces of Afghanistan including Kunar and Nuristan during the recent years.
Cross-border shelling in eastern Kunar province continues despite the National Security Council (NSC) instructed the security institutions to take necessary actions to repel the cross-border incursions by Pakistan.
