At least five people have been killed, and eight wounded in an explosion at a volleyball match in Pakistan's northwest tribal area of Lower Orakzai.
Officials say explosives had been planted in the ground, and were detonated by remote control. The players were boys aged between 14 and 18, and three were among the dead. The wounded were taken to hospital. The playground is owned by the local Shiite community.
No one has claimed responsbility, but militants linked to the Taliban and Al-Qaeda have targeted the country's Shiite minority in the past.
