Blast in Peshawar kills 3 suspected suicides

Three people were killed in an explosion that destroyed a vehicle on Safaid Sang Road in the provincial capital on Friday morning, according to GEO TV News.

Police said the three men were suspected terrorists and one of them was wearing a suicide vest which went off.

The police said the terrorists were riding on a motorcycle with an intention to carry out an act of terrorism in the city.

Police said they recovered another suicide vest, nine grenades, and an AK-47 gun from the location of the explosion.

The Bomb Disposal Squad was called in to ascertain exact nature of the blast. Bodies were also taken to a hospital for postmortem examination.
