Participants in the meetings of the Joint Jordanian-Turkish Business Council held this week discussed means to boost economic and commercial relations between the two countries. Established in 1994, the council comprises the Jordan Businessmen Association (JBA) and Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey. According to a JBA statement that was released yesterday, the meetings which concluded on Tuesday, focused on expanding joint cooperation, especially in light of the Jordanian-Turkish Free Trade Agreement, which went into force this year.
