Minister of Local Administration Ali Mohammed al-Yazidi said on Tuesday that the money is the lifeblood of decentralized management, whether local or federal. He added “ Without equitable distribution of available resources between the local units and the central government we can not talk about development and the provision of services to citizens\". This came during the inauguration of a workshop on the draft fiscal decentralization and sharing resources between the state and its components, which is organized by the Centre for Studies and Economic Media in coordination with the Ministry of Local Administration with participation of 60 cadres of the Ministry from specialists in the financial side. “The program, which launches today ,is one of the most important training programs because it includes a high degree of importance that focuses on the sharing of financial resources between levels of governance in Yemen and reviews international experiences in the distribution of financial resources between the central government and the local units \",al-Yazidi said. He noted that the launch of the program comes at an appropriate time with the starting of the concluding session of the national dialogue conference to come up with the results establishing for a better future for the homeland and citizens. Al-Yazidi added that the lack of fair and clear criteria for the distribution of financial resources was a major reason for all the problems in many countries ,which makes it imperative to benefit from the experiences of other countries that have preceded us in this area. On another hand, the minister noted to the importance of adhering to dialogue as a single way to solve all the current and future problems of the country, urging to work seriously for the implementation of the outcomes of the national dialogue conference.
