Ukraine exported 6.4 billion U.S. dollars' worth of grain in 2013, said the Income and Fees Ministry on Thursday. Egypt, which imported 1-billion-dollar worth of grain, was Ukraine's biggest grain purchaser last year, followed by Spain with 543.3 million dollars and Saudi Arabia with 355.8 million dollars. Also in 2013, Ukraine earned 5.7 billion dollars from selling corn and wheat, which accounted for 89 percent of overall grain exports, according to ministry. Ukrainian State Inspectorate for Agriculture said that the country exported some 32 million tons of cereals in 2013.
