Tokyo shares opened lower Monday, tracing losses on the Wall Street and a pause in the yen's falling. At 9:15 a.m., the 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average lost 61.89 points, or 0.42 percent, from Friday to 14,803.78. The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange was down 1.23 points, or 0.10 percent, to 1, 221.08.
