South Korea's SK Engineering and Construction Co. said Tuesday it has clinched a US$380 million deal to modernize the world's largest substations in Kuwait. Under the contract signed with the state-run Kuwait Oil Company, SK Engineering will either repair or build 62 substations that will provide electricity to 30 facilities that collect and transport oil in an oil field located about 35 kilometers southeast of the capital of Kuwait City, according to South Korea's (Yonhap) News Agency.
