The Russian ministry of agriculture forecasts wheat harvest of 45 million tons in 2012, or at a previously forecasted level, Minister Nikolai Fyodrov said on Wednesday. The overall grain and legumes harvest in 2012 is expected to reach from 77 to 80 million tons. Meanwhile, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich said that Russia’s grain export potential is expected to reach ten to twelve million tons. “We don’t question this figure and so far there are no grounds to expect a bigger export potential,” he noted.
