Tunisia\'s Prime Minister Hamadi Jebali met here on Friday with HE Qatar\'s Attorney General Dr. Ali bin Fetais Al Marri, who is currently visiting to Tunisia to participate in the Regional Conference on the promotion of transparency in the Arab countries. During the meeting, they reviewed the Qatar-- Tunisia relations and ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation, especially in judicial and legal spheres. The meeting was attended by HE Qatar\'s Ambassador to Tunisia Saad bin Nasser Al-Humaidi. Earlier in the day,  HE Qatar\'s  Attorney General and  the Tunisian Justice Minister  Noureddine Buhairi had opened  the Regional Conference on \"Strengthening the transparency and the role of the parties involved in the Arab countries\", which is held under the auspices of  the Tunisian President   Dr. Mohamed Moncef Marzouki. Addressing the Conference, HE Dr.  Al Marri Conference asserted Qatar’s readiness to provide support for the Arab States to recover the funds derived from corruption through the Doha-based the Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption Centre, which works in cooperation with the United Nations. The Regional Conference on the promotion of transparency in the Arab countries is being held in the context of important changes in the Arab region and in response to the aspirations of their people to improve their economic and social situation, which requires more efforts in the fight against corruption. More than 80 officials representing the public and private sectors and civil society besides eminent experts from regional and international organizations are participating in the conference. HE Qatar\'s Attorney General Arrives in Tunis HE Qatari Attorney-General, Dr. Ali bin Fetais Al-Marri arrived in Tunis on Thursday night for a visit to Tunisia during which he leads his country\'s delegation to the Regional Workshop on promoting transparency in the private sector and the role of the concerned parties in the Arab countries. Such a workshop will start on Friday and run for two days. HE the Attorney General, during the visit, will also hold meetings with a number of senior officials in the Tunisian government, addressing aspects of cooperation between the two countries in different areas and ways of developing them. Dr. Al Marri was welcomed upon his arrival at Tunis-Carthage International Airport by Tunisian Minister of Justice Noureddine Buhairi and HE Qatar\'s Ambassador to Tunisia Saad bin Nasser Al-Humaidi.
