Canada Governor General David Johnson met Qatar’s Ambassador to Canada HE Salem Mubarak Al Shafi on the occasion of Canada’s National Day celebration. During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries. Ambassador Al Shafi also met Speaker of the Canadian Senate Noel A. Kinsella and Defense Forces Chief of Staff Lieutenant Thomas Jay Lawson, on the sidelines of the ceremony.
