Government statistics show that Poland\'s unemployment dropped to 13 percent at the end of August, from 13.1 percent in July. Data released by the Main Statistical Office on Tuesday indicates that some 2.08 million people were registered as unemployed among a total population of 38 million. The office also said that another 32,000 employees are slated to be laid off in the near future. Poland\'s jobless rate was 14 percent early this year, but seasonal jobs in construction, farming and tourism in the summer months help out in the summer months, AP reported.
