Today, the role of IT professionals has evolved and is critical to bring in transformation in the new business world, said Abdulla Hashim, senior Vice President, Digital Services, Etisalat UAE. Etisalat along with the other summit partners announced the 7th IDC CIO Summit at a press conference held today. Mehdi Quraishi, Senior Director Product Management and Marketing, Etisalat, participated in a panel discussion held today focusing on ?Technology and Transformation'. Experts gathered to discuss key opportunities and challenges facing the IT industry today in bringing this transformation in an enterprise environment. At the event, the upcoming annual IDC CIO Summit held for the 7th year was announced which is scheduled to be held on 24-25 February, 2014 at Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Dubai.
