Turkish Consul-General in the northwestern Iranian city of Orumiyeh Mehmet Bulut said that Iran-Turkey trade exchanges would rise to 30 billion dollars this year. "Iranian and Turkish officials hope that trade exchanges between the two sides would rise to 30 billion dollars through expanding contacts and cooperation," the Iranian (ISNA) news agency quoted Bulut as saying. Trade exchanges between the two sides totaled 20 billion dollars last year, he said, as expressing the hope that the two countries can deepen financial cooperation in the near future.
