The German Federal Statistical Office (FSO) said Friday that the German government had a budget surplus of 0.2% of its economic output last year. According to a press release the FSO issued here today ,an initial figure had put the surplus at 0.1% of Germany’s economic output. Germany recorded a deficit of 0.8% in 2011. Meanwhile , the German business confidence rose for the fourth consecutive month in February, surging to a more-than-forecast 107.4 points, the Munich-based Ifo economic institute said today.
