South Korea\'\'s foreign direct investment (FDI) increased slightly this year from a year earlier but the rate of growth is slowing due to spreading global economic woes, the government said Tuesday. The amount of FDI in South Korea reached US$7.58 billion in the first nine months of the year, up 4.3% from $7.27 billion in the same period last year, South Korea\'\'s news agency (Yonhap) news agency reported, citing the Ministry of Knowledge Economy.
