Inflation rates fell more sharply to an annual rate of 3.84% in September, compared to 5.34% in August, Egypt’s Central Bank (CBE) has announced. In its report published here Wednesday, CBE said that monthly inflation level recorded a negative rate of 31. 0% in September 2011, compared to a rate of . 0.23 % in August 2010. Egypt’s Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics has earlier said that the montly inflation rate rose last September to 5.1% compared to the previous month of August to score 5.127 points with a constant rate of annual inflation at 3. 6% compared to the same month of 2011 to maintain the lowest rates in five years for the third consecutive month.
