Gorozia welcomed the expansion of relations between the two countries, underlining that the Islamic Republic of Iran has achieved big progresses in the agriculture and cattle-breeding era. Khalilian, who heads an Iranian delegation to Tbilisi, noted the historical-cultural relations of the two countries, adding that Iran is ready to transfer its experience to Georgia in agricultural and kettle breeding fields. Iran and Central Asia have in recent years accelerated their efforts to expand bilateral and regional cooperation in all the various fields. In November 2010, Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili underlined the Islamic Republic of Iran\'s important role in the regional and international developments.
