U.S. stocks closed higher Tuesday, as the Dow reached 15,056, closing above 15,000 for the first time.The dollar lost ground against the euro and the pound, but gained ground versus the yen. Light sweet crude oil for June delivery dropped 54 cents to $95.62 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Gold futures lost $19.20 to $1,448.80 an ounce. The Dow Jones industrial average rose 87.31, or 0.58 percent, to 15,056.20. The broader Standard & Poor\'s 500 index moved up 8.46, or 0.52 percent, to 1,625.96. The technology-heavy Nasdaq composite index gained 3.66, or 0.11 percent, to 15,056.20
