US Stocks close lower

US stocks closed lower Thursday, amid a pullback in oil prices from multi-month highs and a decline in global benchmark yields. The Dow and S&P ended three-straight days of gains. 
The S&P 500 remains less than 16 points below its record closing high of 2,130.82. The index is up about 17 percent from its Feb. 11 low for the year. 
The Dow Jones industrial average ended down 19.86 points, or 0.11 per cent, to 17,985.19, the S&P 500 lost 3.64 points, or 0.17 per cent, to 2,115.48 and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 16.03 points, or 0.32 per cent, to 4,958.62.
