Tokyo stocks

Tokyo stocks jumped 2.64 percent on Wednesday, bolstered by overnight gains in European and U.S. stocks.
The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average was up 391.49 points, from Tuesday to 15,195.77.
The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange finished 31.05 points, or 2.58 percent, higher at 1,236.41.
Gainers were led by marine transport, construction and air transport issues.
The turnover was 2,080.5 billion yen (about 19.43 billion U.S. dollars).
