Tokyo stocks

Tokyo stocks rebounded Monday, helped by bargain-hunting following the market's five-day losing streak.
The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average ended up 132.78 points, or 0.88%, from Friday at 15,296.82, according to Japan's (Kyodo) News Agency.
The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange finished 10.27 points, or 0.82%, higher at 1,265.46.
Major gainers included utility, rubber products and precision machinery shares.
