Tokyo stocks ended 1.24 percent lower in the morning session of Monday amid concerns over emerging market turmoil, with the Nikkei index hitting its lowest intraday level in two and a half months. The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average was down 185.63 points, from Friday to 14,728.90. The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange was down 14.10 points, or 1.16 percent, to 1, 206.54. A wide range of sectors faced selling, led by brokerage, utility, and warehouse issues.
