Tokyo stocks ended 0.44 percent lower in the morning session of Monday, with the Nikkei index hitting a one-month intraday low amid concerns over Crimea. The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average was down 63.45 points, or 0. 44 percent, from Friday to 14,264.21, after falling as low as 14, 247.80, the lowest level since Feb. 17. The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange shed 9.61 points, or 0.83 percent, to 1,155. 09. The decline was led by brokerage, electronics and real estate issues while the information and communication sector advanced.
