Tokyo stocks

Tokyo Stocks index gave up earlier gains to end at a two-week low Tuesday as the yen's sharp fall sparked concerns about rises in import costs for Japanese firms.
The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average fell 125.44 points, or 0.67 percent, from Monday to 18,665.11, the lowest close since Feb. 25, according to Japan's (Kyodo) News Agency.
The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange finished 7.01 points, or 0.46 percent, lower at 1,524.75.
Major declining industry sectors included pulp and paper, mining and banking.
