Tokyo stocks lost steam Monday morning after buying ran its course amid a lack of fresh incentives, with the Nikkei Stock Average sliding 27.88 points, or 0.29%, from the previous week to end the morning at 9,533.48. According to (Nikkei) website, during the early session, the benchmark index briefly climbed 81 points, or 0.86%, to 9,643 in response to Friday\'s rise in the Dow Jones industrial average.
