Tokyo shares rebound Wednesday from a previous trading day's 4-percent slump, following overnight gains in the U.S. market. At 9:15 a.m., the 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average gained 208.73 points, or 1.49 percent, from Tuesday to 14,217.20. The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange was up 22.55 points, or 1.98 percent, at 1, 161.82.
