Tokyo shares sharply rebounded from previous losses on Wednesday with Nikkei soared over 400 points as concerns over emerging markets eased. The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average surged 403.75 points, or 2.7 percent, from Tuesday to end at 15,383.91. The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange was up 31.87 points, or 2.6 percent, at 1,256. 18. Gainers were led by consumer finance, paper and warehouse issues. The turnover was about 2,477.8 billion yen (about 24.0 billion U.S. dollars).
