South Korean stocks traded slightly higher late Friday morning following overnight gains on Wall Street and net buying by institutions.
The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI), which began trading in positive territory, pared earlier gains to reach 1,962.80 as of 11:20 a.m., up 0.24 percent or 4.76 points from Thursday's close.
