Singapore stocks finished higher on Monday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) up 18.42 points, or 0.6 percent, to close at 3,092.14. A total of 1.58 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 950.2 million Singapore dollars (750.6 million U.S. dollars). Gainers led losers 249 to 181, while 514 others finished unchanged. The STI index lost 7.67 points, or 0.25 percent, to close at 3, 073.72 on Friday.
