Singapore stocks finished lower on Monday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) down 42.31 points, or 1.26 percent, to close at 3,328.28.
A total of 1.26 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 845 million Singapore dollars (635 million U.S. dollars).
Decliners outnumbered gainers 257 to 165, while 519 others finished unchanged.
The STI index gained 5.44 points, or 0.16 percent, to close at 3,370.59 on Friday.
