Singapore stocks finished lower on Thursday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) down 36. 32 points, or 1.15 percent, to close at 3,124.38. A total of 2.00 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 1.20 billion Singapore dollars (956.2 million U.S. dollars). Decliners outnumbered gainers 294 to 119, while 539 others finished unchanged. The STI index shed 26.97 points, or 0.85 percent, to close at 3, 160.70 on Wednesday.
