Singapore stocks finished lower on Monday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) down 33.56 points, or 1.09 percent, to close at 3,042.43. A total of 2.48 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 1. 42 billion Singapore dollars (1.12 billion U.S. dollars). Losers led gainers 412 to 81, while 453 others finished unchanged. The STI index lost 24.25 points, or 0.78 percent, to close at 3, 075.99 on Friday.
