Singapore stocks finished higher on Wednesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) up 12. 14 points, or 0.38 percent, to close at 3,227.23.
A total of 1.23 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 1. 36 billion Singapore dollars (1.09 billion U.S. dollars).
Decliners outnumbered gainers 224 to 189, while 526 others finished unchanged.
The STI index lost 79.05 points, or 2.4 percent, to close at 3, 215.09 on Tuesday.
