Singapore stocks finished lower on Thursday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) down 8.7 points, or 0.26 percent, to close at 3,340.96.
A total of 1.23 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 1. 02 billion Singapore dollars (785 million U.S. dollars).
Decliners outnumbered gainers 238 to 174, while 530 others finished unchanged.
The STI index gained 4.67 points, or 0.14 percent, to close at 3,349.66 on Wednesday.
