Singapore stocks finished lower on Wednesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) down 28. 92 points, or 0.91 percent, to close at 3,152.58. A total of 3.41 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 1.44 billion Singapore dollars (1.15 billion US dollars). Losers outnumbered gainers 260 to 171, while 528 others finished unchanged. The STI index gained 13.63 points, or 0.43 percent, to close at 3,181.50 on Tuesday.
