Singapore stocks finished lower on Tuesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) down 25. 15 points, or 0.84 percent, to close at 2,965.80. A total of 1.98 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 1. 26 billion Singapore dollars (1.0 billion U.S. dollars). Losers led gainers 328 to 108, while 505 others finished unchanged. The STI index lost 36.27 points, or 1.2 percent, to close at 2, 990.95 on Monday.
