A total of 2.09 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 1. 17 billion Singapore dollars (921.2 million U.S. dollars). Losers led gainers 214 to 183, while 549 other stocks finished unchanged. The STI index lost 33.56 points, or 1.09 percent, to close at 3, 042.43 on Monday.
