Singapore stocks finished higher on Tuesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) up 13.8 points, or 0.45 percent, to close at 3,067.57. A total of 2.53 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 791.4 million Singapore dollars (630.1 million U.S. dollars). Gainers outnumbered losers 222 to 157, while 571 others finished unchanged. The STI index lost 12.25 points, or 0.4 percent, to close at 3, 053.77 on Monday.
