Singapore stocks finished higher on Tuesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) up 11.90 points, or 0.39 percent, to close at 3,029.10. A total of 1.79 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 792 million Singapore dollars (628.5 million U.S. dollars). Gainers led losers 288 to 139, while 514 others finished unchanged. The STI index gained 4.06 points, or 0.13 percent, to close at 3,017.2 on Monday.
