Singapore stocks finished lower on Tuesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) down 11. 74 points, or 0.37 percent, to close at 3,123.75. A total of 2.75 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 991 million Singapore dollars (780 million U.S. dollars). Decliners outnumbered gainers 234 to 169, while 542 others finished unchanged. The STI index lost 8.38 points, or 0.27 percent, to close at 3, 135.49 on Monday.
