Singapore stocks finished lower on Monday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) down 9.63 points, or 0.31 percent, to close at 3,126.63. A total of 1.32 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 890.7 million Singapore dollars (703.0 million U.S. dollars). Losers led gainers 272 to 146, while 535 others finished unchanged. The STI index went up 7.09 points, or 0.23 percent, to close at 3,136.26 on Friday.
