South Korean stocks opened slightly lower on Thursday, extending a losing streak for the fourth consecutive day on lingering concerns over U.S. interest rate hike.
The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) shed 0.13 points, or 0.01 percent, to 1,980.70 in the first 15 minutes of trading.
