South Korean stocks started lower Monday, with steelmakers and shipbuilding shares leading overall market decline, analysts said.
The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) declined 14.93 points, or 0.78 percent, to 1,911.51 in the first 15 minutes of trading.
