South Korean stocks opened lower as investors took a breather ahead of major earning reports due out this week, analyst said. The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) which started on the plus side edged down 1.77 points, or 0.09 percent, to 1,952.01 in the first 15 minutes of trading.
